Cr. Simon Menzies

Simon is Mosman's most experienced local councillor.

He has served our community for the past 17 years.

Simon chairs Transport for NSW's local traffic committee.

He has served 4 terms as Deputy Mayor. Simon is a natural leader and a skillful chairperson who will bring the best out of his fellow councillors.

Michael Lynch

Michael has lived in Mosman for 21 years. He is a director of a cyber and physical security company. Michael holds a Masters of Health Science and a Graduate Diploma in Intelligence Analysis.

Michael formed ‘Fair Go For Fitness Coalition’ and successfully represented personal trainers and their Mosman clients to maintain access to outdoor recreational areas for exercise. Michael brings a fresh perspective and energy to representing Mosman residents.

Kata Kiss

Kata has called Mosman home for the last 22 years.

She is a former SBS journalist and now a twice published author.

Kata is passionate about environmental sustainability.

Kata, her husband and their puppy are regular visitors to Mosman's great dog parks.


Traffic & Parking

  • Traffic is Mosman's #1 issue

  • Build the Beaches Link Tunnel to reduce traffic congestion on surface roads.

  • Increase green time at traffic lights.

  • Close Pearl Bay rat run.

  • Explore opportunities for underground public car parking.


  • Stop the threat of high rise development at Spit Junction.

  • Refuse; over development, forced rezoning and increasing of housing densities.

  • Maintain foreshore exclusion zone.

Protecting the Environment

  • Implement Plastic Free Mosman

  • Rooftop solar on apartment blocks, commercial buildings and council buildings.

  • Reduce waste to landfill.

  • Upgrade floodlights at sporting grounds to LED.


Alfresco Dining

Simon was instrumental in achieving Alfresco at Centenary Circle & Alfresco at The Buena following a decade long campaign.

Simon is now working towards Alfresco at Boronia House due to open in 2022.

Girls in Sport

Simon established the annual Sports Club Presidents Workshop with councillors so infrastructure needs could be prioritised.

The #1 issue is the need to provide female change rooms at sporting grounds.

Simon's priority will be fast tracking approvals and funding for works at Rawson Oval and Middle Head Oval.

Dog Friendly

Simon successfully lobbied NSW Parliament to allow dogs at cafes several years ago. Simon is currently lobbying NSW Parliament to allow dogs on ferries.

Simon supports increasing off-leash areas in Mosman and introducing off-leash areas for small dogs.


Village Atmosphere

Preserving Mosman's village atmosphere.. A vibrant retail and hospitality sector with more alfresco dining, Shop Local promotions and regular community events. Increasing parking spaces underground. Making active transport easier.Respecting the heritage.


High levels of environmental amenity. Action to improve environmental sustainability. Less waste to landfill. Smart recycling. Stormwater Harvesting. Renewable energy usage.

Fostering stronger working relationships with key stakeholders including; NSW Government, Harbour Trust and Taronga Zoo.
